Welcome to the Madison Valley Medical Center! We are the newest Critical Access Hospital in the state of Montana.
Madison Valley Medical Center is a two level, 36470 square feet, 10 bed Critical Access Hospital located on the north end of Main Street. All the patient rooms are private with a state of the art amenities and a spectacular view of the Madison Range. A large patient / visitor lounge is available for activities during a hospital stay.
The Main entrance is on the south end of the building and the doors are open from 8am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Patients and visitors will be greeted by the dedicated auxiliary ladies and will be directed to the location for the service they are requiring.
The North entrance is open from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. For security reasons all other times the door is operated by a buzz-in system controlled by the Patient Access Coordinator (PAC). The double glass doors are the Emergency entrance which also has a buzzer and the nurses on duty will be able to assist you with your emergency needs.
Our switch board is operated by the Patient Access Coordinator or PAC personnel 24/7 . The PACs also assist the staff with night and weekend patient registration and in all communication with the emergency responders in Virginia City, in the field or in the air.
