Occupational Therapist

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) has an opening for an Occupational Therapist. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist whose primary role is providing outpatient occupational therapy, rehab services to transitional care program, and helping patients develop, recover and maintain daily living and work skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition including type and frequency of treatment
  • Design and implement a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the healthcare team as well as the patient/family
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress
  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services
  • Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support resources.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current state OT license required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.

• Experience in Acute IP rehabilitation setting

• Critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to

work with minimal supervision.

Business Office Collection Specialist

The Collection Specialist is responsible for medical collections, appeals & denials and claims management. This position requires a candidate that demonstrates a positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and is professional in both appearance and approach. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal and persuasive abilities in order to secure accurate and timely payment from third party payers and patients. He/she must display assertiveness in resolving accounts and take the appropriate action to resolve disputes as they relate to outstanding Accounts Receivable balances. Follow up on all accounts from billing through final resolution.

Job Duties:

  • Correct and identify billing errors and resubmit claims to insurance carriers.
  • Obtain corrected information and request rebills.
  • Respond to payer’s request for additional information/documentation.
  • Communicate patient responsibility with patient, and set up payment arrangements if required.
  • Monitor client accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
  • Monitor collection efforts by reviewing A/R reports and follow-up on appropriate accounts
  • Perform and document follow up/collection efforts.

Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • At least 1-year experience in Medical Billing and/or Collections preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
  • Possesses intermediate knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance benefits.
  • Must possess an outgoing personality with ability to build rapport quickly to resolve customer questions and/or needs.
  • Must work effectively with other employees, patients, insurance companies and other outside parties.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize needs, multi-task and manage needs is essential.

Per Diem Nurse Aide - Admitting Clerk (CNA)

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) in Ennis, Montana is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Aide - Admitting Clerk (CNA).

The Nurse Aide - Admitting Clerk is responsible for fulfilling the duties of a certified nursing assistant as well as fulfilling the task of admitting and registering new patients in the hospital setting. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills. This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Attention to detail is essential. This position requires a self-directed individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. A positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are key components to success for this position.

Registered Nurse Per-Diem

Madison Valley Medical Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Per-Diem. Under general supervision the Registered Nurse is expected to plan and implement nursing processes of assessment, evaluation, and execute clinical skills in the promotion of health. RN is expected to incorporate evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards. RN will assume great responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered. It is expected that RN will direct the activities of nursing and ancillary caregivers while maintinaing standards of professional care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

· Current Montana State License as an RN

· ACLS

· CPR

· BLS

· Experience and competency to work in an Emergency Department

Physical Therapist

Madison Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced full or part time Physical Therapist to provide care to our expanding patient base. We are a critical access hospital and rural health clinic located in SW Montana.

Candidate must be licensed and nationally certified. Individual must be motivated to seek challenges, work well with others in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working with varying degrees of oversight. Practice is fully electronic and proficient computer skills are required.

MVMC provides a mix of outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services. The case load is about 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient/acute care/swing bed.
