 Clinic Manager/Operations Officer

Madison Valley Medical Center is a critical access hospital and rural health clinic located in SW Montana. We are seeking an energetic, experienced healthcare professional to lead and manage operational needs of Madison Valley Medical Center and to directly manage the Family Medicine rural health clinic team in providing compassionate medical care. Experience working in primary care preferred.

As a vital member of our team, the Clinic Manager/Operations Officer will oversee the daily operations of our Family Medicine rural health clinic. Requires in-depth experience with strategic planning, developing business objectives, budgets, and financials. Ability to select and mentor personnel, as well as conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. The successful candidate will have the interest and capability to assume greater management and organizational responsibilities over time.

The successful candidate will possess strong healthcare management experience, preferably in a primary setting. Demonstrated skills and experience in medical group practice management, including (but not limited to) all aspects of managing staff, working effectively with a diverse group of Providers, budgeting/accounting, workflow analysis, clinic scheduling and patient flow controls, quality management, familiarity with EMR systems, proficiency with MS Office software applications, purchasing/inventory control, customer service modeling and training, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requires a minimum of three years of management experience in a medical office setting. Prefer those with a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Capable of training, mentoring, and motivating individual staff members. Demonstrated ability to routinely evaluate budget performance and achieve financial objectives and productivity requirements. Skill set that includes workflow and staffing analysis, cost accounting, expense controls, and reporting. Demonstrated skills required to interview, select, orient and train high performing staff. Capable of establishing performance standards and measurement, assessing performance, assuring accountability and rewarding achievement.

Mammography Technologist

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) is seeking a part time Mammography Technologist for screening Mammography and Dexa exams.

Job Description

  • Perform screening mammograms , using Hologic’s Selenia Dimensions Tomo system, including C-view
  • Develops, directs and maintains quality assurance program according to established protocols including MQSA, FDA, ACR and MRS standards
  • Perform Dexa scans using Hologic Discovery
  • This is a part time position, hours will be flexible as the Mammogram program develops.

Education and Experience

  • 5 Years digital experience required in Mammography
  • Current status with ARRT(M) license, ACR accreditation and Montana state license
  • Current CPR training
  • Current Radiology CEU’s
  • Basic skills in RIS and PACS

  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation with staff and radiologists

 Chief Financial Officer/Controller

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) is seeking to fill the position of the Chief Financial Officer/Controller.   This is a full time salaried position reporting to the CEO. The position is part of the leadership team of the Medical Center.   The successful candidate will have the interest and capability to assume greater management and organizational responsibilities over time.  Minimum qualifications include a bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance and 3 years work experience in preparation of financial statements and related supporting activities preferably in a Hospital or Clinic setting.  Candidates with a Montana CPA license are preferred.   This position is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling corporate analysis and maintenance of accounting, financial, and statistical reports/records to account for financial resources.  Projects total hospital & clinic revenues.  Directs preparation and maintenance of all fiscal records and systems.  Candidate will manage and oversee daily operations of the business office, accounts payable, payroll, and materials management.

  1. Production of monthly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP and supporting the annual financial audit process as the main liaison with selected auditor.
  2. Maintenance of General Ledger including monthly entries and reconciliations of accounts.
  3. Production of various financial reports and analysis that support the financial competency of the MVMC leadership team. This includes providing advice and consultation on financial matters to members of the leadership team.
  4. Maintenance and reporting of statistical measures.
  5. Technical support for development of the annual budget.
  6. Monitoring and management of cash flow.
  7. Supervision of the accounting specialist responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  8. Providing supporting documentation for the preparation of annual Medicare cost reports.
  9. Oversee and administer all aspects of the Revenue Cycle including registration of patients, discharge, billing, collections, coding, maintenance of medical Records, and insurance contracts.

  Physical Therapist

Madison Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced full or part time Physical Therapist to provide care to our expanding patient base.  We are a critical access hospital and rural health clinic located in SW Montana.

Candidate must be licensed and nationally certified. Individual must be motivated to seek challenges, work well with others in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working with varying degrees of oversight. Practice is fully electronic and proficient computer skills are required.

MVMC provides a mix of outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services.  The case load is about 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient/acute care/swing bed.

Medical Assistant

Madison Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced medical assistant to work in the clinic. Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, rooming patients, assisting health care providers during examinations and procedures, administer injections, telephone calls with patients and other health care professionals, documentation in electronic health record, and preparing prescription refill requests.

Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Previous Primary Care experience in an ambulatory clinic is a plus. Practice is fully electronic and proficient computer skills are required. Candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills; must be dependable and task oriented. Candidate must present professionally, have a friendly demeanor, and be able to work in a cohesive, team oriented work environment

Network Administrator

Madison Valley Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached Rural Health Clinic, nestled in the Madison valley of the Rocky Mountains.

Network Administrator Job Purpose: Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.

Network Administrator Job Duties:

  • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; router/switch/firewall/server/software administration.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.

MVMC has a current opening for a per diem nurse. Under general supervision, plan and implement the nursing process of assessment, evaluation, and clinical skills in the promotion of health. Incorporate evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards. Assumes great responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered. Directs the activities of nursing and ancillary caregivers while maintaining standards of professional care.

Per Diem Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk (CNA)

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) in Ennis, Montana is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk (CNA).

The Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk is responsible fulfilling the duties of a certified nursing assistant as well as fulfilling the task of admitting and registering new patients in the hospital setting. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills.  This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
