Network Administrator

Madison Valley Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached Rural Health Clinic, nestled in the Madison valley of the Rocky Mountains.

Network Administrator Job Purpose: Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.

Network Administrator Job Duties:

  • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; router/switch/firewall/server/software administration.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
  • Maintains network performance by performing network and systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting  problems; escalating problems to vendor.
  • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
  • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
  • Upgrades network and electronic health record by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Per Diem Nurse

MVMC has a current opening for a per diem nurse. Under general supervision, plan and implement the nursing process of assessment, evaluation, and clinical skills in the promotion of health. Incorporate evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards. Assumes great responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered. Directs the activities of nursing and ancillary caregivers while maintaining standards of professional care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing · Current Montana state license as an RN, ACLS, CPR, and BLS Required

Job Description
The right applicant will be responsible for patient registration, answering phones, processing the daily deposit, clerical work, and other administrative office duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

This position requires a self-directed individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.  A positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are key components to success for this position. Familiarity with patient insurance and billing is preferred. High computer proficiency is required

Materials Management Coordinator

Job Description

 The Materials Management Coordinator will be responsible for acquiring all equipment and supplies necessary to perform all aspects of daily operations within the facility. Duties include maintaining a well-stocked and organized Central Supply area, processing accounts payable, processing supplies, sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, and distribution of surgical instrumentation. The employee will perform other duties as assigned. The right candidate must have computer skills including internet, Microsoft office, and be able to use the Electronic Health Record to generate purchase orders, receive items, and enter all invoices.

Job Duties

  • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management
  • Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities
  • Sending out and receiving mail and packages
  • Preparing business correspondence (often using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation computer software)

  • All Day-to-day operation matters
  • Fulfillment of bi-weekly payroll with support from financial administration
