 Physician Assistant PA-C

Madison Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced physician assistant to provide care to our expanding patient base. We are a critical access hospital and rural health clinic located in SW Montana. Primary responsibilities include providing care in the Emergency Department, inpatient, and in the rural health clinic.

Candidate must possess national certification as a Physician Assistant. Previous Primary Care and Emergency Medicine experience is required. Individual must be motivated to seek challenges, work well with others in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working with varying degrees of oversight. Medical Assistant

Madison Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced medical assistant to work in the clinic. Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, rooming patients, assisting health care providers during examinations and procedures, administer injections, telephone calls with patients and other health care professionals, documentation in electronic health record, and preparing prescription refill requests.

Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Previous Primary Care experience in an ambulatory clinic is a plus. Practice is fully electronic and proficient computer skills are required. Candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills; must be dependable and task oriented. Network Administrator

Madison Valley Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached Rural Health Clinic, nestled in the Madison valley of the Rocky Mountains.

Network Administrator Job Purpose: Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.

Network Administrator Job Duties:

  • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; router/switch/firewall/server/software administration.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
  • Maintains network performance by performing network and systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting  problems; escalating problems to vendor.
  • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
  • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
  • Upgrades network and electronic health record by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Per Diem Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk (CNA)

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) in Ennis, Montana is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk (CNA).

The Nurse Aide – Admitting Clerk is responsible fulfilling the duties of a certified nursing assistant as well as fulfilling the task of admitting and registering new patients in the hospital setting. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills.  This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Attention to detail is essential. This position requires a self-directed individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.  A positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are key components to success for this position.

PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:  Coordinate and administer patient accounts as they relate to all functions from billing through payment.  Representative will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate patient information and accounts from registration to billing and account follow-up.  This position will focus primarily on coordinating with various payers to ensure that payments are received in a timely manner and according to contractual agreements.  Will assist in working and maintaining MVMC’s Accounts Receivable and ensuring that it remains at acceptable levels.  The Representative must also be able to work with patients to gather information and explain procedures if necessary.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • College degree in related field preferred.
  • Certifications in Billing & Coding preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting with general understanding of the revenue cycle preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be organized and self-motivating with the ability to multi-task.
