Network Administrator

Madison Valley Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached Rural Health Clinic, nestled in the Madison valley of the Rocky Mountains.

Network Administrator Job Purpose: Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.

Network Administrator Job Duties:

  • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; router/switch/firewall/server/software administration.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
  • Maintains network performance by performing network and systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting  problems; escalating problems to vendor.
  • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
  • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
  • Upgrades network and electronic health record by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.

Per Diem Nurse

MVMC has a current opening for a per diem nurse. Under general supervision, plan and implement the nursing process of assessment, evaluation, and clinical skills in the promotion of health. Incorporate evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards. Assumes great responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered. Directs the activities of nursing and ancillary caregivers while maintaining standards of professional care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing · Current Montana state license as an RN, ACLS, CPR, and BLS Required

Administrative Assistant

Job Duties

  • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management
  • Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems

 Facility Manager

Provides a productive and safe working environment for staff, visitors and patients while ensuring that the facility and equipment are protected and maintained. The holder of this position is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Responsible for performing or coordinating all maintenance and repairs of Madison Valley Medical Center.  Writes contracts and manages construction projects.  Supervises environmental services staff.  Employee performs all assigned duties in a manner consistent with the mission and values of MVMC.

  • Develops necessary policies and procedures and reviews all polices annually to ensure continued relevancy of policies & procedures
  • Annually develops and reviews with CEO, operating objectives for each applicable cost center
  • Schedules and coordinates maintenance and repair of equipment and systems, including: HVAC, fire detection and suppression, medical gases, vacuum, plumbing, security and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs as required by regulations on such equipment as boilers, compressors, emergency generators, fire suppression systems, etc.
  • Responsible for snow removal, lawn care, tree and shrubbery care, supplemental window cleaning, internal and exterior painting as necessary
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with key internal and external customers and associates
  • Provides direct supervision and project management over any facility remodeling or construction and coordinates with Infection Control Officer prior to any work being performed
  • Tabulates and reports patient satisfaction data
  • Oversees facility security operations

Skills/Qualifications: Possess or capable of securing a Low Pressure Boiler operator’s license;       operate, as needed, a variety of powered equipment, such as: skid loader, rough terrain

forklift, backhoe, snow blower, etc.;  possess a vehicle capable of performing daily trash

removal;  proficient in use of Microsoft Office products;

 Medical Assistant

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) in Ennis, Montana is seeking a Medical Assistant.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for vitals, injections and basic triage and should be able to assist in minor procedures. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills. Responsible for maintaining an efficient patient flow, assisting the physician during patient exams and performing all necessary follow-up in a timely and accurate manner while exhibiting quality care. Must be knowledgeable of routine office procedures and medical instruments. Screens phone calls from patients for the provider. This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Physical Therapy – Patient Services Coordinator

Madison Valley Medical Center (MVMC) in Ennis, Montana is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator in the Physical Therapy Department.

Position Description:  You will be working the front desk checking in patients, setting appointments. You will be responsible for taking co-payment and various office duties. In order to be successful in this role you must possess good customer skills, be a team player, and open to change.

Positions in this function are responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a Physical Therapy Clinic. Roles may vary based on the skillset.
