Betsey Weltner, Board Member
Betsey has accrued more than four decades of public affairs/communications experience in
the public and private sectors, utilizing strong planning, management, and communications skills. She has worked in various capacities, from U.S. congressional aide in Washington, D.C., to a state agency director to president of her own public affairs firm, Weltner Communications. Betsey and her husband, Dan Davison, moved to Ennis two years ago and share a strong commitment to the area. She was raised in Atlanta in a family that has always valued the importance of giving back to the community. Through Weltner Communications, she represents several East Coast-based clients. Separate from her consulting business, she is a contributing writer to The Madisonian newspaper.
Betsey’s community involvement includes: Member, Madison County Planning Board and Parishioner, Trinity Episcopal Church. Betsey graduated from University of Georgia with a Journalism degree.
