The Madison Valley Medical Center Foundation is a community based, non-profit corporation which exists to inspire gifts and grants from individuals, foundations, corporations and other entities to support the health and well-being of people in Madison County and adjacent communities in southwest Montana.
Foundation Governance & Staff
The Madison Valley Medical Center Foundation was established in 1988 to generate private financial support for the then Madison Valley Hospital & Clinic. The Foundation is a non-profit corporation, governed by an independent board of directors that administers all philanthropic gifts to the Madison Valley Medical Center and its programs.
The Foundation Board of Directors are volunteers who are dedicated to improving healthcare in our community. Without their efforts and compassion, the MVMC Foundation would not exist.
Foundation Dollars at Work
Donations to the Foundation are used to support and enhance patient care and to provide needed services to the community. To keep pace with advancing technologies and provide patients with the best diagnostic treatment services, the Medical Center must continue to replace equipment, train staff and develop programs. The Foundation, on behalf of the Medical Center, also takes seriously its obligation to the Madison Valley community at large.
Money raised enabled the Foundation to advance community health and the medical center facility:
- Purchase emergency room equipment
- Purchase cardiac rehab equipment
- Purchase portable ultrasound machines
- Purchase updated health records
- Provide medical staff training and skill development
